Sculpture: Objectified. Concrete / metal.
This concrete torso reclines against a piece of rebar and a base created from a heavy metal brake disk. With lovely leaf impressions on her breasts and a fitted formal corset rounder waist she maintains her appearance despite having been gutted sternum to navel by the losses she’s suffered. And, as is the fate of females our world the misguided application of horseshoe nails is all she’s been given to hold in what’s left of her. The fact is – virtually every woman has been physically or emotionally abused by some man in her life. Body is objectified, soul is unseen…
